David Ouyang is a technology entrepreneur, AI practitioner, educator, and investor with a career spanning semiconductors, EDA, DNA sequencing, medical devices, consumer electronics, internet technologies, and cybersecurity. He holds a PhD from Stanford University and an Executive MBA from Columbia University. David founded and served as CEO of an EDA software company that later became publicly listed in China, and was part of PDF Solutions during its journey from pre-IPO to Nasdaq. At IBM, he worked in technology alliances and business development, licensing IBM intellectual property and building global partnerships. His later work has included AI and machine learning roles at Apple and Palo Alto Networks. Across these industries, David has consistently applied statistical analysis, data mining, machine learning, and more recently generative AI to real-world problems.
