Control, Build, Discover

Youth AI Ignite Club is a standing high-school club run by SiliconRoshi AI Academy — one club, one calendar, open to high school students across the U.S. and Canada. You don't need to charter anything at your own school. Come as you are, join the club, keep a project kit (build with WukongDojo or MIT App Inventor), and meet the club monthly online with Bill or Lucy — 45 minutes, once a month across the school year. September 26 is the kick-off session.

Event ended

The afternoon

What you leave with

What you get as a club member

  1. A seat in Youth AI Ignite Club for the school year One standing club, run by the Academy, open to every high school student across the U.S. and Canada. You don't have to found anything, get school approval, or find a faculty advisor — the club already exists.
  2. A project kit — WukongDojo & MIT App Inventor The tools, prompts, and project patterns to build a real thing after 9/26: an AI agent on WukongDojo, or a mobile app with MIT App Inventor. Yours to keep and work through at your own pace.
  3. A monthly 45-min office-hours block Once a month across the school year, hosted by Bill or Lucy. Members show what they're building and talk through what's stuck. Momentum, not surveillance.

FAQ — for parents

Does my student need coding experience?

No. The tools are modern AI builders (WukongDojo for agents, MIT App Inventor for apps); mentors guide every step. Curiosity is the only prerequisite.

Is the event supervised?

Yes — instructors and mentors are with the students for the full afternoon, from drop-off to pickup.

Does my student have to start a club at their own school?

No. Youth AI Ignite Club is one club, run by the Academy, that every high school student across the U.S. and Canada is welcome to join. No charter, no petition, no faculty advisor to chase down.

What does the one-time registration fee actually cover?

$199/year covers three things: the September 26 kick-off session; a project kit for building real things after the event (an agent on WukongDojo, or an app with MIT App Inventor); and a monthly 45-min office-hours block with Bill or Lucy across the school year. That's the club's commitment — small on our side, real for you.

Is this an ongoing weekly class or unlimited mentoring?

No. What the membership commits to is the kick-off, the project kit, and one 45-min office-hours block per month. Nothing more is bundled in.

What's the project students actually work on all year?

One project, one narrative — see "The year-long project" above.

Will this help with college applications?

The aim is sustained work over time — building projects, showing up to monthly office hours, and reflecting on progress. Over a school year that can become an authentic application story. No guarantee of admission.

FAQ — for students

Can I work solo or do I need a team?

Either. Solo builders are welcome; we can also match you into a team of 2-3 on the day.

What do I bring?

A laptop, a charger, and one idea you care about (optional — we have starter ideas too).

What happens after 9/26?

You keep the project kit (WukongDojo · MIT App Inventor), you keep running the TELL · ASK · ADD · DIG drill on whatever you're learning or building, and you're invited to a 45-min office-hours block once a month with Bill or Lucy — show what you're building, talk through what's stuck. Come when you can; we don't take attendance.

Do I need to already have an AI club at my school?

No — and you don't need to start one. Youth AI Ignite Club is the club. You join it here.
